I'm a little late, but this is for the sketch challenge and Mon. technique challenge (out of the box). I love this technique and use it a lot. I even did a Tutorial back in Feb. for it using the Spellbinders Nesties.
I stamped the golf ball snowman on white, colored him w/ markers and a blender and used the out of the box Nestie tech to cut him out using a one of the Spellbinders long rectangle set. I left the die in place and sponged on some Neptune ink around the edges. Then I got an ink smudge on the snowman so I stamped, colored , cut him out and attached him on top of the original. He's attached to hunter green and baja breeze layers. On the red layer, I used the stripe images to make a plaid using the cardinal ink. I added a few thin dark lines w/ a black pen.
The larger baja breeze layer was stamped w/ black ink. I only used the word frame part of this golf image. I made a plaid strip using the neptune ink and green and red markers. I did this again across the front of a 4.25 x 5.5 white card. The white bg was embossed w/ the Swiss Dots folder and I used the reverse side because it resembles the dimples on a golf ball. I used part of a holiday sentiment image for my greeting and cut it w/ a Nestie oval. I added a faux brad to look a little like a plaid golf ball.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
