I needed a masculine Christmas card to send to my pastor at Church. Since he is unmarried, I didn't feel like I could "dress it up" all pretty with ribbons and bling, so I opted for just glitter on the image and used some bronze metal dots rather than bling. Even though I miss the "pretties", I thought the colors, embossing and tree sparkle were enough to make it look good, but not too feminine. I least I hope that's what I achieved anyway.
.I used Merry Moments DSP #SU# for the patterned papers, and I embossed the image and red band with Swiss Dots EF and the second panel, with the branches, with Circle Snowflakes EF to give it a bit of texture.
.Added some tiny snowflakes to each corner with the bronze metal dots and added 2 bronze metal dots to either side on the image on the red panel.
.I popped up the main image panels on dimensionals for a little extra depth.
.It was really hard not to add ribbon or bling, but I think I was able to get away with it on this one!
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and if you have a chance, let me know what you think.

Good morning Fruitflake! I love it - so now you've combined your wonderful masculine cards with your awesome Christmas cards to come up with this fantastic creation. You are a cardmaking machine! Must be because you can't spend all day cooking in the kitchen... Love the image and the sparkle on the tree - great job on the sketch...

The copper brads are perfect for a masculine card although I know it was hard not using those pearls. This card is absolutely beautiful and I love that striped bg. Love your embossed image and the sparkle. I can only imagine how beautiful it is IRL. Now, to a very serious matter, what was that about me being #4...that is a demotion. You almost didn't get a comment on this card, Pamalina. You better straighten up or this could be it!
Seriously, your card is awesome!!

Fruitcake, how wonderful to see you in the SC gallery. WOW, is this card ever masculine and gorgeous at the same time. Wonderful papers and image just make this a special card for your pastor. I'm fairly confident he will love it. Beautiful work. BTW, I'm trying to be nice today. Did you notice?

Pam, this is AMAZING! Masculine yet glamorous in a macho kinda way! A definite fave! If your pastor doesn't have this card in pride of place on his mantlepiece - well, to use a British expression (and I know how you love that British accent!) I'll be gobsmacked!
