Hi! This card was made for todayÂ’s Clean And Simple Challenge. TodayÂ’s Challenge was an inspiration challenge. I chose this wallet for inspiration.
I am STILL VERY behind on this year’s Christmas cards and really need to get moving. So when I saw this wallet…(okay, I OWN one of these!)LOL, I decided I was going to take the colors and the silver in the “turn lock” and use them in a Christmas Card.
The image was stamped in VersaMark onto Snow Storm Smooth and embossed in silver. It was cut out and Palette Cote dÂ’Azure was sponged on. I worked VERY quickly, and rubbed the silver with a paper towel to buff off the ink. The sentiment was made the same way.
The background was dry embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.
Finished Card Size: 5" square
Total time to complete 14 minutes

There you are! I love the cb bg and that hazelnut paper with the blue ink you told me about the other day. I love the word joy too. We need to keep looking for that, or find it in what we're doing. Thanks for sharing your encouragement in different ways today. :>)
