I am running so late - this has been a busy week at the end of it.
This is for WT244 (Faux Linen) and LSC246 - a bird and a thank-you card. I think I must always have used too fine a grade of sandpaper for my previous attempts at faux linen - whereas this one might have been a bit too coarse, at least I feel I am on the right track!
A2 base, covered with brown Core'dinations, distressed edges.
The print pattern was stamped with StazOn brown on glossy card, then I sanded it and sponged with Peeled Paint. More distressed edges.
The rub-on birds are from Hambly. I wrote the sentiment, and the Thanks is a Prima alphabet stamp with the letters cut out, popped up on foam tape and Glossy Accents added.

I think this is pretty. I love the way it turned out. If you think it's too coarse for linen - tell people you just invented a tutorial for faux cheesecloth! Ha Ha!

Sabrina, what a wonderful inspired card! I love your sentiment with this image!!! Funny how we both pulled out an old bg stamp within days of one another ... I always forget about Print Pattern! Love how you used it here!
