This is my version of the fantastic Holiday Blitz tutorial for the Top Note Box.
It's the first time I have ever created something from a tutorial and I really hope you like it!
I only wish that I had seen this earlier as I was asked to make 25th wedding anniversary favours and this would have been perfect.
Unfortunately I do not own any die cutting tools so after making the basic box created my own template for both the bottom & top sections. The cardstock used is from the Martha Stewart Golden Woodland 12x12 paper pad (full of stunning designs!)
The central Let it snow image was created using a Papermania clear stamp duo then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. As you can see, this was then mounted onto various sizes, colours, textures of punched circle cardstock. The embossed image was then highlighted with adhesive gems.
The faux stitching was created using a pricking tool which after being "poked through" was given extra definition by dabbing with a marker pen in each hole.
A Silver ribbon keeps the box tied shut and perhaps my favourite addition is the silver leaping reindeer! (Kindly donated by my DS, Thanks Gill!)
This has been one of my most enjoyable projects to date and I am really fired up to create many more as the uses and occasions for these gorgeous boxes really are limitless!
As always, A Whopper of a Thank you from across the pond and Happy Stamping fellow crafters!

Wow and you created your own template. My goodness you are so talented! Another favorite of mine. I am so blessed to have access to die cuts and will case this one. Love your idea of using the marker to highlight the paper piercing.
