Here's my challenge card for today. This is for the color challenge, Double Dog Dare Challenge and Teapot Tuesday. This is my first time doing the Teapot Tuesday challenge.
Here's my story. Dusty has been rescued from the attic, but before he could have tea and cookies, he had to see the doctor for some repairs. He's waiting with the nurse for the doctor to come and stitch him up. She's administering hugs and the tea is steeping for later.
These are a couple of very old SU sets, Bow Bear and Bear Neccesities. Bow Bear was stamped onto Kraft CS and Very Vanilla CS. The image was colored with blender pens and pads. I did add a bit of Rose Red Ink to the mix to brighten up the burgundy just a bit. Dusty was stamped on Very Vanilla CS and colored with blender pens as well. A bit of Liquid Applique was added to his arm. After all, there's a rip and a tear in this teddy bear and love falls from him everywhere.
The background paper is also an SU retired item.

This is awesome for the challenges, Kathy!! I love everything about it.
The punch you asked about for yesterday's paper blossom card is by Punch Bunch ( I thought it was Marvy, not sure if that is their brand or not). I think it is called Peony and has 5 different sized petals on it.

Welcome to the tea party, Kathy. You sure had the perfect bears to bring along this week - one needing care and one to give it. Poor little thing, with his Applique stuffing falling out.

*grin* Love the bear's stuffing that's showing! I also love the overall Victorian look, with the "wallpaper" and the rich burgundy oval frame and the beautiful bow!!

Hey, everyone! Kathy's here! She's a first timer at the tea party so let's give her a warm welcome!
Kathy, I can tell you have a soft spot for bears. Yep. These cuties are too, too sweet. It was so kind and thoughtful of you to think to bring nurse bear and her little assistant with all those daily doses of hugs. Absolutely brilliant on your part! Such a beautiful card using all those challenges!

Okay....Bertie here.....oops! Mebbe I better hang back in case yer not familiar with who Bertie is. I cain't remember if ya ever met me afore. I wouldn't want to skeer ya off from the tea parties. I really am a friendly sort; just kinda goofy and likes ta have fun and fling stuff at the tea parties. I cain't fling nuttin' today, though, cuz it would upset SnoSnot (aka JoJot) and, truthfully, I wouldn't never hurt no teddy bear.
I shore am glad you came today, Kathy, and hope you'll join us again!
