Can't believe how my brain works. After not posting a card for two days, I went to post this one and realized I hadn't take a photo of it! lol .....Today, we are browsing through Christine's wonderful gallery. Congrats on being the FS today. I chose this one. Here are my details.......
This image was "hand" delivered to me from the one and only Anne Ryan. Not only did I meet her, but I also met the very talented and full of art Bertlady or Bertie as we call her. What a fun afternoon we had yesterday. Gotta say, Bertie looks pretty much like her avatar. So does Anne other than NOT REALLY. She did indeed go blond. But she looks mighty fine as a blond. I was able to snap one photo of the two. Please visit my blog if you'd like to see them...........Oh WAIT, just remembered, I still don't have a blog. SORRY!
About this card, I obviously changed the image, color and left off the sentiment, but kept the layout pretty close.
The girls were colored with w/c pencils, then versa marked and clear ep. The hair dryers have crystal lacquer on them. Drew in the floor and baseboard and made the wallpaper.
Layered it with black cs then white cs that I painted the black squares on. Put it on a square card that I sponged the edges with twilight purple and added the red bow from some ribbon that Bertie wrapped some goodies up that she gave me.
I'll be posting more about my visit with these two very sweet and fun ladies plus the wonderful goodies I got real soon. Till then, TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Guess who's who. Anne wore blue, Bertie had a very colorful fun shirt on, and I had on purple hoping to help make me look good. hehe
