it's time for another guest designer challenge for the MFT release coming up. This month the challenge is to use almost all white on your creation. I decided to make a wintery forest scene with the fabulous tree images from Grow Love. I added lots of layers and texture on my card with hints of earthy tones of kraft, and mellow moss. I softened the kraft tones with frosty white shimmer paint (you can see it pretty good in the upper right corner of this photo-there are close ups on my blog). I stitched on some rolling hills after embossing with various cuttlebug folders. I used the snowflakes from Owl for all Seasons and embossed those with versamark and clear embossing powder on the background of the white square panel. I also did this on the round tree and then sponged on a bit of mellow moss ink to make those white snowflakes pop!, the pointed tree was debossed with the snowflake embossing folder and then mellow moss ink was sponged on that, too. The sentiment is from Baby it's cold outside and finshed it off with a pop of red with a few rhinestones and a buttony-bow, what else! I love how this came out! thanks for a chance at the guest designer spot! www.mylittlecreativeescape.blogspot.com
