So many wonderful cards to CASE- I chose this card: Silent Night by Miss Boo at Splitcoaststampers
I do not have a candle stamp, so I used Real Red CS, put it through the Cuttlebug and highlighted the embossing with Real Red ink. I made a 'topper' for the candle and sponged black around the edges, then added red stickles around the edge.
For the leaves, I used the flames from a FCD set, and used Prismacolor Pencils and gamsol to blend all of the colors (Limepeel, Marine Green, Kelp Green and Dark Green- thanks to all for the color suggestions on the Techniques/tips board). I used the center of the fire for the top of the candle (917, 1003 for coloring). I added yellow stickles to the flame. I added stickles to the leaves like little berries.
I changes the ribbon so it will fit in an envelope. I sewed it down. I took a length of ribbon that was ~ 6 inches long and folded it in 1/2 and gathered it into a circle, then added a cluster of red seed beads. The sentiment is from a new set from FCD by Pamela.
