Inspired in general by the Cherry Blossom collection I made this card. Loved that soft blue in the porcelain, and I don't use this stamp enough.
Stamped the sparrows on white card and coloured with H2Os. Hard to get a good photo this late at night - there is more pink on the blossoms than showed. Masked the moon, coloured the background with an H2O wash and then sponged the moon in with ColorBox chalk Banana. Rounded the edges and wiped with Aqua.
Base layer is A2 pearlescent blue, with some pink grosgrain ribbon around it. Next layer is embossed pearlescent cream, with some light green Mizuhiki cord around it. Then I popped the image panel up on thin foam so that it wouldn't get marked by the cord, and added a little blossom. Technically I think it's almond, but it will do. I enjoyed making this - I've had such fun watching all our little baby sparrows in the back yard throughout the summer.
Thanks again for such an inspiring site.
For schirmcat's WOW10 challenge, seems to me these birds are having a good chinwag.

LOVE THIS!!! Love the color, the lovely image and the layout! The coloring is awesome! Where did you get the stamp from? It is one of the cutest bird images I've seen!!!!!! Even the branch the birds are on is gorgeous! I love watching the birds around here too! They can be quite comical! TFS. : )

What a gorgeous scene! Your flower branch is lovely as is your sky. The bird in the air appears to be reprimanding the birds on the branch for something! Lovely card. TFS!
