I loved the navy sparkly tree card we made at our last Stamper's Ten Make & Take evening so I decided to make another - but change a few things. This time I used a traditional red & green combo, made a 5 3/4" square card and used a different tree image.
The celery piece is stamped with the Polka Dot BG stamp in olive. After stamping the tree I sponged the rectangle with some celery ink followed by some olive around the edges. Added lots of sparkle with Stamp 'n Bond powder and glitter. I added a small red punched star above the tree for a pop of colour.
I tried a new method with my ribbon knot. Liz showed me her method at the Make & Take evening. You tie a loose knot in a strip of ribbon, cut a separate small length of ribbon, insert this in the loose knot and then pull tight - voila, a nice neat ribbon knot! Then you tape the ribbon ends behind your panel.

Beautiful card! And thanks for sharing the ribbon knot technique!! I always have trouble tying nice-looking knots; will give this a try! :-)
