I made this card for Cindy's tea party - yep, Cindy's back with her fun Teapot Tuesdays and this week we are heading to Black Hawk, Colorado to try and introduce some color to the black and white world of Mr. and Mrs. Blacken White. It's our first nightime tea party, but we can't have our tea and treats until we finish redecorating the White's house with color. If this sounds crazy, read the whole story here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Well, I am afraid I am going to have to come in the back door this week because I kept their house black and white! I guess I am as afraid of color as old Blacken! But I did decorate for Halloween with two giant pumpkins and some shimmery spider webs!
Welcome back, Cindy and thanks for the invite to the Halloween tea party!

Carla, what a fantastic card. It looks so much like the teapot. I love the way you colored the pumpkins. I never remember to make ribbon tabs, but I love how they look on cards. You have black and white, but you have color too. Maybe you will have to go in the side door.

Hey, Carla, don't tell anyone but I will meet you at the back door! You did see my *blacken white* card didn't you! Snort, no worries all we have to do when Blanca comes around is dive into the new colorful throw pillows on the couch. She will never see even see us as it seems we tea potters went a little overboard on decorating with pillows!
Your card is awesome! The little house is perfect! And I am so happy that you getta USE this card for Halloween in the real world!

I think there's plenty of colour there with those little ribbon tabs - they really brighten the whole card up. I did find a little bitty house stamp, but it was too small to inspire me - yours is a great take on the teapot.

Naw Carla! The back door is reserved for guests like me who really didn`t follow directions. LOL I love your black and white house and you certainly have enough splashes of color to brighten the MRS. day. Fun card! TFS

I love your sweet and colorful ribbon tabs on this cute card, Carla! I see Bertie spilled some of her pea soup on your card; good thing it blends in with the green grass, huh?
