My 6yr daughter wanted to make a patchwork like mine. She put the squares on white GP white cs onto the SU basic black cs as the base. She went around the white with a black sharpie pen, made dots then lines. Kaitlyn stamped the image with black stazon, colored with SU markers. I think I got 2 stampers that are following in my footsteps. Kaitlyn made this for her teacher.

Kaitlyn, I have a daughter who is 17 with the same name and same spelling! You have done such a beautiful job on this card and your mom must be really proud of your talent! I'll bet that your teacher just loves her Halloween card. You're a special girl to make this for her.
Kaitlyn, I'm a kindergarten teacher and I want you to know that thoughtful cards and notes like this one are treasures to teachers. I can guarantee your teacher will save this card and it will make her feel happy on days when she's tired or frustrated for years to come. This is a cool card and I appreciate how much work went into it. Way to go!

Thanks for the sweet comments. I was reading the comments to my daughters and they were just smiling. I'm so proud of both of them following in my footsteps.

Oh my... what an adorable card! She is a VERY talented 6 yr old!! It's so good to see kids getting into stamping or any crafting for that matter! This is such an *electronic* world, that a lot of kids have completely lost their creativity!
