A wonderful gentlemen from church has a birthday this week. This gentlemen teaches confirmation classes and also has my youngest son in Sunday school classes. At the same time, he is battling cancer. I pulled out fleur-de-lis' for the Christian symbolism, then tried to build a simple masculine card.
I am not convinced I like the new curry paper - but it certainly makes the tags pop!

Kim - I think you did a great job! Love the colors and use of the symbols... very nice! I'm sure he'll love it! Is that a Cuttlebug embossing folder you used on the white background?

This is so cool. I just want to go out and get the stamps and embossing folder for all those MAN cards I never know how to make. You were able to use ribbon and gorgeous colors without taking away from the masculine feel. What a creative approach! Thanks for the inspiration.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
