What a fun couple of challenges! Today's patchwork and yesterday's sketch. I actually used to make patchwork quilts, but haven't in a long time. For this one, I made sort of a strip quilt on the bg by attaching vertical strips of 3 of the c/s colors to a base of the olive. Then I cut it into 3 strips horizontally, changed the order of the colors and put them back together.
My scarecrow was colored w/ markers and a water brush then cut out and attached to a Spellbinders circle that I had stamped the greeting and the circle design on.
I stamped the checkerboard flower on 3 colors of c/s w/ different colors of ink and cut them out, I attached die cut buttons on top. The brads are faux and I used a 1/4 inch hole punch on some leftover rust c/s that had part of the checkerboard flower on it. I used a stylus to round them out and give them the shape of real brads.
I added faux stitching w/ a black marker and layered all my panels together.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
