I was making this Pine Tree shaped card with my new Nested Pine Trees dies from Spellbinders, when I thought it would be cool to make a little stand so that it could be displayed. I used my Matchbox Bigz XL die, and just cut a couple of slits in the top to slip the base of the tree into. Easy peasy! The pretty snowflakes were die cut with the Snowflake Borderabilities dies, and I glued some pretty Taylor's Twinkles to the centers. The texture on my tree was achieved using the Herringbone Cuttlebug folder. Finally, I found the perfect sentiment in my Oh Christmas Tree set from Lizzie Anne Designs, and punched it out with my Modern Label punch.
Thanks for looking!!
