Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Bermuda Bay, Chocolate and Apricot Appeal.
Now, I made this card using DARK Chocolate,(I used Deepest Mahogany Paper.) And I don't have the Bermuda Bay color ink....I DO have the markers, though, so I stamped the lily pads in Burnt Umber Palette ink and colored them in! Next, I used an aqua painter to blend in the color. The waterlily was done the same way, (I used an Apricot Appeal marker).
Now, I had to get a bit creative with the sponging, as I didn't have the ink....So, out came the Palette Inks. After a bit of experimenting, I found out that Palette Landscape sponged on FIRST and then sponged OVER with Palette Reflection Blue gets Bermuda Bay! I have to admit, when I was successful, I got up and hugged Speedy the Cat, who immediately passed gas! I swear, I almost fainted! Note to self, don't hug Speedy the Cat too tightly in the future!
Finished size: 5" Square
Total time, including color experiments: 19 minutes.

Your cards are always amazingly full of detail and dimension, but the most amazing thing to me is how FAST you make them! Even the simplest cards I make take me an hour or two! I hope with time and practice I get faster... This is beautiful!

Your card is gorgeous, Faith. Sorry to hear about your stinky hug from Speedy, but I must admit it's funny . Sorry to laugh at your misfortune ;)!! We got a kitten a couple of weeks ago and I can totally vouch for almost fainting when being graced by their flatulence. They pack a punch!! LOL!
