I am so pleased with the shabby chic feel to this page, it totally suits my sweet 7 yrs old daughter! The paper flowers were made with Nestabilities scalloped circles (paper, French pages from a cookbook, Foo Fa La buttons), and the black felt frame is Fancy Pants. The technique I love most is used all over this page: use your fingernail or scissors to rough the edges of the scallop edges or tags. Also, I attached the felt frame to the background paper and then stitched around the entire thing with plain taupe thread.
Here's the link to the girls that inspired the sewing and the cookbook flowers:

Oh, this is just so cute. The flowers really are fun--and I love the black scalloped border and bracket element too--so glad the tutorial got you excited about scrapping again. There's nothing like inspiration!!!
