-Tear a piece of paper in two; youÂ’ll use both of them for the procedure and keep in mind the size of the image (in this case itÂ’s the house) and how much flat area you might need, I inked up the bottom line of the image and stamped it on paper before tearing.
-Mask off the ground area with one of the torn pieces then stamp on the house.
-Ink up the brayer with the lightest yellow. Start the application from the bottom of the panel and start the roll off the panel and work your way on. This color only needs to go as high as the top window.
- Now mask off the sun with a punched out circle from a sticky note and the house, the chimney isnÂ’t important to include in the mask.
-Apply from the bottom of the panel again, add the darker yellow.
-Apply from the top the orange and only go down about half of the ski area, then add the red and keep it pretty high on the card.
I personally use a quick rolling motion which goes completely off the panel to each side and I pick up the brayer and let it spin and repeat the rolling. Reload the brayer as many times as it takes to achieve the color you desire.
-Remove the mask and now cover the sky area with the second piece of torn paper. Place this a bit higher than the yellow to avoid too much white showing.
-With the direct to paper technique rub your black ink pad onto the cardstock staring over the mask and pulling it to the bottom of the panel.
-Add the remaining images, eyelets, ribbon and sticker. I punched slots with my ribbon punch and ran the ribbon front to back then back to front again so it on the back side of the cardstock underneath the sticker which gives that sticky a solid piece of paper to hold onto.

Love your card. I wish I could get my brayer technique developed as well as you have yours developed. Love the colors ... looks like the sun is just going down and thereafter lies a spooky night ahead! I added to my favorites.
