Whenever I see lilacs I remember the garden of my grandma. She had purple and white lilacs that smelled oh so sweet. Unity's new background stamp brings back lots of great memories.
I stamped the background in Soft Suede on Kraft Cardstock and colored it with Copics. Sorry...I had to throw in a light pink for my butterfly. I added white opal pearls over my lilacs. I should have stamped the background with a waterproof color....but I kind of like my antiquish looking lilac blooms.
The butterfly and the leaves were covered with Crystal Effect. I sprinkled a bit of Dazzling Diamond Glitter over the Butterfly....because butterflies should sparkle. LOL
The Mellow Moss background was stamped in White with Everlasting Romance. I am all giddy to now own both of those gorgeous stamps. And since there are polka dots in this background, I think this card works as a softer entry for the Unity Bachelor Challenge.

Goodness!! I love the way the blooms turned out! I have 100 feet of lilacs on the side of my house -- they are so fragrant in the summer. Your card is just gorgeous! I love the style of it!
