Today's TLC was Faux Suede. I've never tried it before - I loved it, and will definitely be using this again.
The colour I used was calling for Wild West cowboys, or Indians and beads - none of which are in my repertoire. I decided to try stamping directly on it, and it looked good, so I went from there.
I stamped the Stampendous Agapanthus with black ink, tore the edges and sponged them. Embossed the blue base with Swiss Dots, and then attached the image panel with brads. Decided to add a little sentiment. Then I added some butterflies punched from a scrap of red card - two with the faux suede side up.
So much easier than stamping on fabric, and almost as good a look.
