When I was a child, a neighbor with very bad arthritis, made me 3 paper German star ornaments. I loved these stars and cherished them. Every Christmas I would put them on my tree and told myself that someday I would figure out how to make these myself. Finally, many, many years later, thanks to the Internet and Martha Stuwart Crafts, I learned how to make these and and I can't stop. I make them in all colors, all sizes and give them away to friends, family and neigbors. One of the original stars is in the middle of the picture. You can tell by how worn it is.

Wow--these are so fabulous & look so intricate! And a beautiful story to go along with them--each of my decorations for my trees have stories and I love that! thanks for joining in on the challenge with us!
