This is my attempt at Gina's colour challenge. Colour challenges are my Achilles heel, and I wasn't going to do it, only I had the orange card on my desk and liked the idea of an autumn card.
The cream base is 5 3/4" square. I cut a 5" square of orange, a square of brown just 1/8" smaller, and an orange layer 1/8" smaller again. On the top orange layer I stamped an Anita's leaf stamp randomly with Walnut Stain ink. The image was stamped on cream card with black ink and coloured with H2Os. I cut it with Labels 1 and sponged the edges orange, then layered it up on a brown layer. It needed something, and nothing seemed to be working. In the end I went with an orange Prima with a brown stamen and pearl centre, and two little strips of cream grosgrain ribbon. When even DH says the ribbon is better than not, that's a sure sign it needed something. I'm just not sure I've found the right thing - if I weren't working to a deadline I'd have spent a lot longer trying to find just the right thing.

I don't make cards so well under pressure, but evidently YOU do! Love your tree with your home made leaf dp, Sabrina!
