This is my card for the SCS challenge using Beate's sketch. I don't use a lot of brown, so that was a challenge. But I LOVE this Blush paper, and the sketch looked perfect for showcasing the little bird image. I do like square, that was easy .
4 3/4" square. All papers are Basic Grey Blush. Dark red base layer, then patterned brown with punched corners. I cut a piece of paper with the bird, layered it up on red and then brown, with the inner two corners punched and all edges sponged with brown. This panel is popped up on foam. I stamped Merci from Carte Postale onto a scrap of paper and punched it out with the Word Window punch. I scored two little lines near the end, so that I could pop it up on foam and tuck the end under the red layer. Added some bling in the punched corners - the tiny ones in the outer corners are pink. Some Primas layered with more bling, and leaves cut from another sheet of paper finished this off. I love it - going to be hard to give this one away!

This is stunning - really. I love the Dp and those flowers are so cool. I think this is one of my favorite cards you have made! I can see why you might not want to give it away - maybe you could save it for someone who really, really does something special!

Sabrina, I can see why you wouldn't want to give this away! Very beautiful. You were a very busy stamper this weekend ... off to see the rest of your creations.

Love how the layered Primas echo the flowers in the paper - this is super-sweet Sabrina, not surprised it’s still in your keeper collection after all this time!
