Today is Friday and that means it's time for a Verve Sketch With A Twist. Love Amber's sketches and the twists are a fun challenge.
This week's twist was to do a "Shabby Chic" card. I had NO clue what that entailed....what can I say, I'm not a trendy type of gal LOL! You can read all about my experiences with "Shabby Chic" on my blog Rosemary Reflections.
Decided to use Roses in Winter a lovely SU set that I haven't used much at all (hanging my head in shame) since there were a lot of roses in the pictures I saw. I distressed and added "foofy things" as per my inspiration bedroom picture seen here.
So....from what I can see based on my card, "shabby chic" and I don't get along too well LOL! Thanks for looking anyway Have a great weekend.

I like it. Your card is very pretty. and I like the rose!
Psst!
When I hear "shabby chic" I always think of an English drawing room with faded Victorian wallpaper, big flouncy roses and a bit of dirt in the corner that the maid didn't get! LOL
