I used Flight of My Dreams from Clear Artistic Stamps for the focal image. The sketch challenge was to use a circle for the focal image, but I thought it would be fun to create the illusion instead. It is my little dream world - hee hee. The hummingbirds were stamped using VersaMark and Indigo ink, then heat embossed. I colored the images with Prisma pencil, then masked off the images with liquid mask. With the same technique, I stamped the background flowers. Using a Faux Finish cube I inked in the background. The outer edges were sponged using shades of brown causing the focal image to pop. The aqua panel was created using CAS Shimmer paper. After I wet the paper down I crumpled it up, then ironed it flat. A little ink helped to bring out the texture. The Sentiment is pulled together using pearlized raffia from CAS, along with some natural twine. Copper brads, and some mesh in the background gave this card a very earthy feel.
