Before I begin, I have to say that I really don't like going gray. I mean I REALLY don't like it!! So I sibstituted bordering blue for the gray. Of course, by the time I was done, you really can't see the bordering blue, either LOL! But I hope my substitution is OK.
Anyway, I love Christmas and Christmas cards! I adore Nativity scenes and pictures of angels announcing the Good News. But I also LOVE secular types of Christmas decorations and cards. I just don't send them to very many people!! So here's my first secular Holiday card for the year. I love the way it came out. I've started using the Copic method of blending colors with my SU markers (circles, starting with a light color, then adding a second and sometimes a third darker color, then blending with the lightest again)and I've discovered how truly lovely my silhouette stamped images can be!
I made my own background "paper" using a snow border stamp in sage shadow, pretty in pink and bordering blue #on the borders, of course!#
A few diamond shaped silver brads round out the scene! Hope you like it!! Thanks for looking and have a blessed day!
