I remembered this week that I hadn't pulled out Home for Christmas from the retired pile ever since it made it back to the catalogue. I decided it was time to ink it again and since I was not in a watercoloring mood, I opted for using it as a plain image instead. I love the look of gold embossing on Soft Suede, so I embossed part of the main image on a Soft Suede panel.
To make the scallop rectangle, I used a trick shared by Gretchen Barron on her blog, with the Scallop Square die. Worked like a charm!
