What a neat website! After cruising through it, I found I just really liked the same inspiration piece that hostess Stephanie fell in love with too.
I used the polished stone technique, then embossed the bird image with clear ep. Then I heavily sponged over the bird with chocolate chip ink. Some of the polished stone scraps were used for one of the strips too. TFL!

Ink: creamy caramel, chocolate chip dye inks from SU; distress ink in broken china; versamark, nick bantok dye reinkers in cerulean azure & sapmoss green
Accessories: rubbing alchohol, ribbon from a touch of ribbon, twine

This is awesome!! The way you made it - I will have to try it- I have done that same thing with DP, and it's also cool. Your card is awesome...guess I said that already but it really really is!!
