The Divine Ms. M aka Stamp Muse and I had a little challenge to make a kimono card. i struggled with it until I found this very creative Video, from Michelle's Rubber Room~Thanks for sharing your creativity!............
i changed it up and added an extra circle at the back of her hair and only partially glued it on , so it will catch on the card base, and easily pulled out and put back. I added a belly band, so the card will still open and after the bookmark is removed you can still have a message on the inside and open the card. clear as Mud?
I started with white paper and clear embossed the flowers and sponged mellow moss and colored in th e flowers with artichoke. Glued ribbon on the front. for the obi/belly band i used bb cs and some beautiful paper from Debzi333 and black grosgrain ribbon. Stamped the paper flower and sponged it.
Thanks to Anne Ryan for the pearl and Debzi333 for the paper and rub ons wich inspired this card.

EEEK again! I forgot to trim my kimono. What a total goober I am. I do believe I mentioned that my notes from the video weren't so copious ... sheez.
I love this soooo much, girlfriend! You ACED the challenge and I am still lurking in your shadow. I was going to suggest we have more challenges, but now I don't know about that ...
Darling, darling, darling creation, Peggy-Sue!

Ooh, such a cool kimono! Looks as if Debzi's and Anne's gifts really inspired you and Stamp Muse. You both came up with some wonderful creations!!
