I made this simple card for today's IC site - LAMA. There were some lovely collage style images, and some I liked with bluebirds and other little birds. But in the end, on the very last page I looked at, there was THIS hen and chick brooch. It's in the jewellery section, in case the link doesn't work.
So, I took the yellow and orange, and the little oval and the stitching. This is a long narrow card, 8 1/4 x 3 inches. I stamped the hen, masked her and then stamped the daisy field wheel. Coloured them both with watercolours. Then I cut an oval, embossed it and stamped the little chickens on. Added orange stitching lines and wiped the edges with green. I added a sentiment punched with the Word Window punch, and a little orange gem. The sentiment and the chicks are both up on foam.
Thanks for a lovely site, Stef, I enjoyed looking through it.

Sabrina, I love how you translated the stitched oval to paper with this card!! What a fabulous idea! I love the simplicity of this, and the roller with the grass and flowers!!!just great!
