With being away for two weeks, it's already the middle of September and I haven't made any of my ration of Christmas cards. So today's sketch was a good chance to rectify that, especially as I'd come across Snoopy when I was looking for stuff to put into a FreeCycle bag.
A2 navy base, next layer is watercolour paper embossed with the snowflake folder. Then some Basic Grey June Bug with the top corners punched and the edges sponged with blue. Then a strip of red, embossed again with snowflakes. I brayered it with Versamark and used some clear sparkle EP, which doesn't show so well in the photo. I punched the bottom corners. I layered the whole thing up and added two white snaps before sticking it to the base.
The image was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with H2Os, and Stickles on the hat trims. I cut it with Labels 1 and sponged the edges with blue. Added some blue organza ribbon crinkled a bit with the heat gun. It still seemed to be missing something, so I stamped on a tiny greeting under the bow.
I remember jojot's card and enjoyed working from it - thanks, Roxie.
