How did you add the purple distressed background on top of the blue flowers and still see through it? I know the opacity can be changed, but it still dullens the color underneath, whereas it looks like yours shows through perfectly where the white would be.

I used the stamping option to do that. Look under Stamps--it's called Textured. You can change the color and opacity if you want. I think I just rotated mine, don't think I changed it otherwise.
Love this option because IRL I sponge everything, and I miss that about digital!
