Just a quick, humorous birthday card for DH. As we get older we have to see the funny side of things, right! This fella made me chuckle so I coloured him up on watercolour paper with my aqua-painter, added a couple of layers, punched out a sentiment and added a trio of black rhinestones and some stripey ribbon and it was done. Turned out OK for a 'midnight oil' creation...

Let me just assure you, this turned way over the top and way above anything I could turn out burning the midnight oil! I love your image and it's so apppropriate for DH, I'm sure. Isnt that what life is for ... chillaxin...every night on the laptop leaving comments. His idea of chillaxin and my idea of chillaxin are very different. Although I look pretty much the same, he's doing something more beneficial than I am! Darling card!

Yippee, a new upload from our Isaiah!!!! OMG, this is hysterical and a perfect husband card. Look at that watercoloring you've done here Heather. OMG, and the color combo. This is such an excellent card and it's SO GOOD to see a new upload. Hopefully, we'll see more when you settle into your post summer routine. I'm still playing catch up too, mostly with commenting on galleries!! LOVE THIS!! TFS!

Ha! Retirement sure looks rough for you poor DH; he's really let himself go... better not be pulling out any more hair either, by the looks of it! Awesome fuzzy slippers too!

Ha Looks as if HE has been burning some midnight oil and hasn't had time to shave. This is a wonderful masculine card. Great job with the coloring. I am sure the recipient will get a laugh out of this.

Fun and fabulous !!! It's terrible isn't it - the way we - myself included - portray men on our cards!!! ;) Either they are old cars, fishermen, couch potatoes....... those poor men of ours just can't win, can they! ;) Fabulous card....... I think I may need that image to add to my masculine collection! Well done! ;)
