This card inspired by Tilly's Simply Sweet designs (check those out if you haven't yet, sooo cute!!) Bottles where stamped with versa mark then embossed onto vellum with white EP, then colored on the back with water color pencils. First time using Mulberry paper.

Cute card! I've done the same technique, embossing on vellum, but I've colored in on the front with gel pens(I like the gelly roll pens)--they work great! Also if you're fast enough, you can sprinkle clear embossing powder on the gel ink for a shiny look. By the way, how did you attach the vellum to the mulberry paper? I've tried vellum tapes and rubber cement but usually end up using eyelets 'cause everything else shows through.

I used mono, and it was not comming out nicely, if you look on the top edge of the vellum, you can see a slightly "wet" look strip, and a few short strips, thats the mono. But you must not have noticed it right off, so thats good, I know we are always most critical of our own work, arent' we?
