Party Girl is one of the new release sets by MFT, being released tonight (Wednesday, Sept. 2). She is one of my absolute favorite MFT releases YET!
I decided to put together a shaped card. I LOVE making shaped cards! I think they're so fun and unexpected. For this one, I cut random free-handed flames from brightly-colored patterned paper in various sizes and backed each one with black cardstock to make it really "pop." Then, I stitched all around each one for a little added interest. I stamped out our little partier and colored her with Copics and Copic Spica glitter pens. She really shines in person! I added a couple details with a white gel pen and then adhered her to the card base with dimensionals. Finally, I added one of the sassy sayings, backed with more black cardstock.
