We are off to africa this week for our tea party... There is some family there with a lot of issues going on... Oh heck, what family doesn't have issues? right?
In any case, I brought the lighting for the concert. I kept with the black/red colors in honor of my childhood love, David Lee Roth. If you have no idea what I am talking about... follow the story line here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/
Lastly, I like to make my cards "fun"ctional... so I made this for my dear Sister Therese.... she turns 45 tomorrow! And Yes, she is my older sister! LOL
The zebra paper was from a shower invitation I received. I saved it knowing that some day i will be able to use it... and here I am using it! Thanks Cindy!... I just colored it red with my real red marker!

I love "fun"ctional cards too - great job with this one. I also love that you recycled! I love this image - it is so versatile and the bling just makes it really special for a birthday card. Happy Birthday to your sister.

Lovely card for you lucky sister. I love your story and the recycling part as I do that all the time. I have wrapping paper my cousin brought me that is 45 years old that I am using to make her a birthday card. She loved it so much that she has saved it this long and I wanted her to have a piece of it always. The MMDesign Team thanks you for playing with us this week.

Maureen, this is gorgeous. I love the bling on the light. That repurposed zebra paper looks better now than it did to start with, of that I am convinced. Happy Birthday to your sister!
