OMG! What a workout. I got this technique from the SCS resource site and although it was fairly easy, I had trouble trying to create a layout. If you check my gallery, you'll see that I don't generally do "non-character" cards so I am a bit out of my element here. Anyway, this is the cracked glass technique. I had to do it twice before I got a look I liked. The flowers were dyed with brush markers to match the flowers in the stamp. I tried to dye the pearls to match the ribbon but they only stained. They did not take on the full color of the ink. I chalked the edges of the stamped image and embossed mat behind it to give it a sort of aged look. I also used Distress Ink to color the cracks to make them appear old.
