These three cards were made with the same background stamp (Waves) by Local King Rubber Stamp.
The bright ones are done with SU's in-colors Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay. They were stamped on SU cardstock (whisper white). I cut the cardstock inked with the waves into 1” strips and framed them with the matching in-color carstock.
The subtle one is created with Adirondack Lights - Lake Mist. The chicks are also from www.localkingrubberstamp.com with a set call Chicks. I colored chicks on the stamps with a variety of earth tone SU markers. The paper with the chicks is shiny, clay coated, and dries quickly. Next time I would use less linear strokes to color the chicks. You color and stamp the primary images and then stamp the background.

I love how your birds turned out. It's amazing how something so easy to color turns out so beautifully. I like the subtle background too. Congratulations on getting ink on your new stamps so quickly!
