I immediately thought of the Pendant Park stamp set. That little bench with the 2 squirrels on it in silhouette. So, I thought I would get a head start making my husband some cards for when he does his last 7-month deployment coming up soon.
I, of course, don't use flowers on a masculine card, so I used some leaves with a large copper brad instead. At first, I only lined the leaves with copper stickles, but then I smeared it by accident with my finger, so to save the day, I filled them all in with copper stickles. Hope it doesn't make it too "girlie", but the card was already together - you know what I mean????
I used twine instead of a ribbon, changed the papers and added some copper brads. I tried to leave more blank space like Joanne did, but I just couldn't do it.
Anyway, thanks for a great inspiration Joanne. Your gallery is AMAZING and I've enjoyed looking and working with it!!

This is terrific Pam. I love all the copper. It is a color that is not used enough IMHO. Those bards are great. I really like the way you split the card with the stamping on the top. Super job..

Totally amazing, Ms Pammy! I love those papers and copper enhancements. OMGosh, Ms Pammy, is this for Mr. Pammy?
That paper is so perfect with the twine, too. There's only good stuff to report on this card, my sweet friend. Remember, I'm trying to be nice to you. Outstanding card crafted with exquisite skill and technique. A gold star for you girl!

Pam, wow, that is about all I can say!!!! This card is stunning and I am sure your hubby will love it when the time comes. The last deployments, oh how we military (and retired military) wives know the feeling . I know you are all happy about that one. Great colors as well. Hugs my friend, Sabrina

Pam, this is a wonderful masculine card! I love the houndstooth dp with the stamps you used. I just bought a similar little tree stamp today and now you've inspired me to use it instead of stashing it away in a drawer!

Pam, I didn't realize you made a card today. It is so masculine and I love that houndstooth dp. Great images and awesome copper brads. I like the stickled leaves. Sure wish I had made a masculine today instead of that collage I did.
Thought about taking it off the gallery. YOURS is awesome, as usual.

This from the gal who claims she can't do masculine cards...!! Great job! Guys like shiny things so the stickles are perfectly fine - love the copper brads too. Great card! Hope the time flies for your whole family once your DH starts his deployment. I see your dear, sweet friend is no longer MIA and just look how positively sweet she is to you. Better WYB.

Mr. Pammy! I love it, Anne! You are too funny! Pam, this is fabulous - you nailed it - a perfect masculine card that he will love! And the copper Stickles are perfect. So glad it's his last deployment...you both must be very happy about that! Have a great day, and it's wonderful to see your cards each day!
