I combined today's colour challenge with one of the Viva la Verve sketch challenges over at the Verve forum - the {twist} for this challenge was to use a tag - I turned the oval greeting into a tag with a cool brad I found in my stash!
I stamped the balloon on Kraft using Choc Chip then paper pieced using Ski Slop DSP. I sponged around the edge of the balloon to 'grunge' it a bit! I also sponged around the circle using my nestability die as a mask. The background of the card is a combination of Choc Chip and Kraft DSP, cut with the new Labels 8 nestabilities dies - which are brilliant considering the UK doesn't have the SU top note die!! I ran the background piece through my cuttlebug swiss dots folder then sanded over the top to distress further. The edges were sanded and inked to carry on the distressing feel!
I added some buttons I found in my button stash that I thought were perfect for this card!
TFL!

I love the way you had a center of interest (red balloon) then repeated the shapes throughout.
