Here's my card for the A Muse Lounge Challenge #7. I purchased this hippo stamp along with the hippo birdie sentiment around July when Jill Grace taught a copic class over in Costa Mesa, CA. And yes, it's been on the shelf and today for the first time, it finally saw some inks! haha!
First I created my own water and sand background by just going across the paper back and forth using copic markers (aqua blue and champagne colors). Added random black dots on the sand using a fine tip sharpie. Then I stamped the grass, bird, and hippo. On another piece of paper, I stamped/colored the hippo and bird and paper pieced it back to my scene. Added a birthday hat (by Stampin Up) on the hippo using some pp scraps. Thanks for looking!
