CAS29 Challenge: to find inspiration from the Anthropologie site. My inspiration piece is this hat: http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/...isSubcategory= There are sooooo many thing I would LOVE to buy on that site!!!
I also combined today's technique challenge, which was making a textured pattern with magic mesh/drywall tape and acrylic paint. I used drywall tape.
The flower was cut with the Sizzix Flower Layers die, and sponged with creamy caramel on the edges. For the ribbon slide in the center of the flower, I did mulitple layers of embossing powder on a scrap piece of cs. Then I cut the ribbon slide with Quickutz die.

Kris, this is so pretty and I was sure the ribbon slide was metal with rhinestones. You did an awesome job with that creation. The flower is so pretty, also. Love the caramel paper and mesh bg. Great job on these challenges.

Love your interpretation, Kris. The big, soft flower is very inviting.
Also, the way you rounded the top of the card--why don't I ever think of cool things like that?!?
You and I should rob a bank (note to FBI: I'm just kidding) and go shopping together!

I had this open to comment on this morning, and then ran out of time before work. I love your flower with the buckle on it, Kris. The buckle/slide looks so like a real diamanté one.
