You'll have to check out Cindy's blog post for Tuesday to get the full picture - the sneak preview from last week is HERE, at the bottom of the post.
I know I don't have any policeman stamps, and I'm busy packing and cleaning before we go on holidays, so I don't have a lot of time to be ultra-creative. That meant bringing in a PI on the case. Thanks to Connie Kidd for the Snoopy images .
Sherlock Beagle is one smart investigator, he already detected a birthday I almost forgot, and that there is a tea-party tomorrow. Wish he could help detect where my Magic Mesh is for today's TLC!!
A2 card, covered with light brown card, then some blue paper, half of which was embossed and wiped with blue ink. I used a scrap of paper from the room Sherlock was investigating on Friday for him to stand on, and to cut out a question mark. The magnifying glass is gold card, cut with Nestabilties circles. There are two layers of gold card, and in between a layer of chipboard - the acetate is between the chipboard and the top gold layer. If I'd been in work today I'd have taken a coffee stirrer for the handle, but I had to make one from chipboard and sponge it with brown ink. You can't see, but I did score it several times with the back of my knife where the handle meets the lens. The whole thing is popped up on medium thick foam tape. I added 3 snaps, and that was it. Mystery solved.
Actually, we're listening to the Complete Sherlock Holmes on audio books at the moment, so this is extra apt.
Sorry for being early again, Cindy!

I am impressed you could come up with this card when trying to rush. I have to leave early in the morning and I am just blank. Your magnifying glass is so creative and I love the embossed bkgrd.

How funny, as I was scurrying around Saturday (when I should have been packing) I was thinking about a magnifying glass, but I went a different way. Love your card. I really like what you did with the CB background. Very cute!
