Hooray, I finally got to participate in the Featured Stamper Challenge starring none other than the fabulous va.sunshine. Congratulations Teresa, your gallery rocks! Let me tell you, it was extremely difficult to make a selection to CASE.
Because I'm still not quite mentally prepared to make holiday cards yet, I went to the Inspiration Challenge to find something to move me as my background panel. I found it here: http://www.pylones.com/produit.php?pid=471&num=4. I took the floral theme and the pink theme to come up with my background.
I kept Teresa's layout, changed it to a square card and used gold embossed Riot of Petals in place of a dry embossed image. Added pearls to the ribbon in place of a bow.
It's hard to see the shimmer of the gold cardstock, but trust me it's there! I may go back and Stickle some of the petals for some added shimmer.
I was so stoked to have scored the Riot of Petals stamp after it retired. Now that I've colored it, I'm not so sure I scored at all. I'm the world's slowest colorer, so this took me FOREVER to color!
Congrats again, Teresa!
Thanks for looking and have a great day everyone!

Beautiful card, and well worth the time it took to colour. I am not quite sure what sort of flower it is meant to be, but in my mind I can smell honeysuckle .

M, this is really, really gorgeous. I think your coloring is fab and worth all the time you spent. I also think the embossing is perfect, especially on the tiny sentiment. I always seem to have blobs and specks everywhere. A beautiful card for the IC.
