I don't know how you ladies do this, but another very inspiring site! I chose two today. This one and this one. Then I added a touch of me and wal-la.....my card......
Used a new cb eb folder that is for the edge only, but I just kept moving it over until the page was fully eb. Sponged on some color and added some Judith dots.
Made the frame and painted on the squares.
Cut a half oval with my coluzzle, colored the stripes with copic markers, layered it three times for thickness.
Stamped my flower, clear ep it. Colored with copics. Layered it twice, popped it up over a third one on the panel, then added a circle of metal repair tape for the mirror part. Curled some wire for the neck.
Stamped and clear ep some lady bugs, cut out and popped on my frame and mirror base.
Put is altogether on a white card.....DONE. Hope you like it.............TFL :0)

I love how you can take two inspiration pieces on the same challenge and work them together. Love your details all the way down to a mirror on your mirror!!! great whimsy going on with great colors. I am blown over with the wire attaching the mirror to the base. you are always thinking outside the box. love it, sis.
hugs,

Girl, I just dont know how you, day after day, come up with these fabulous cards of yours. Is there no end to that imagination. Oh, wait just a minute, when I was in school, we talked alot of creative painters and their likelihood of being borderline. Oh dear, could this be you? Oh say it isnt so! I love what you did with your edge cb folder and then sponged all over it. Your image is pretty darn amazing too. Terrribly sweet card. Notice I said terribly 'sweet' card! This is just too fun!~

Oh yes, these colours are gorgeous together. I should have recognized them from the clock page. But there were so many wonderful colours today that they are a kaleidoscope blur in my mind. I love your sweet little mirror, and the great embossed and painted backgrounds you made for it.
