The Bloggers Challenge for this week is to use punches. The Bloggers group I am in here on SCS-Sweet Dreamers-challenge this week is to use a sentiment as a focal point and no coloring! This ruffled medallion is made to accent my sentiment.
Take DP and punch with the scallop punch. Cut to ~ 3/4 of an inch. Put through the crimper. Pinch up the pleats to enhance the crimped pleats. Take Mono glue and attach to your punched oval. I used an oval on the top of the medallion and the bottom. Stamp the sentiment and then pierce around the edges of the oval. I 'rouched' the ribbon and sewed it on with a straight stitch.
Thanks for looking!

Fabulous medallion, Shelly. I cant create one of those to save my soul. Love the paper behind it and the scalloped edges are the perfect embellishment to really highlight the beautiful medallion. Great work, girl.
