You all know who I'm talking about, the one and only Connie Jo9, aka Sput. For some reason, this stamper is hell bent on presenting what she thinks is my photograph. Surely, Sput's either been tipping a few too many or her search for a wealthy man almost 6' under has gotten the best of her. This card is the evidence.
I did recently and regrettably disclose to Sput I've changed my hair color. Interestingly, she's made it out to be pink as ineptly depicted in this imaginery photo of hers. She also knows I wear hats: lots and lots of baseball caps turned backwards, not this little pill box thing from my mother's old wardrobe.
Aside from Sput's frequent episodes of being in and out of it, she did manage to create one darling card. I havent seen this old lady image before, nor have I seen an image colored quite like this before either. Wonderful choice of paper, sput and I love the punched panel. Oh, sometimes you really do get it together so well and then other times.....
Because of my profound sensitivity to our aging population, I've decided to make a new years resolution commencing immediately and well in advance of 1/1/10: Moving forward, I will focus on trying to be more understanding of Sput. It's fairly obvious, someone needs to be kind to her.
Thank you so much for such a fun card, sput. As sis says, you done good even if it was at my expense.
I'll try to be more patient with you in the future. I promise I will!
Hugest hugs,
Anne

OK, I wasn't sure which "Ole Bag" your card title referred to.... My, my, my! You gals have still been carrying on like school girls while I've been away this summer...!!! I say counselling is still in order! Seems I have a lot of 'story reading' in the gallery ahead of me to catch up on all the 'tall tales and tattle-tales' out there that I've missed, but alas, it shall have to wait a few more days.... Always a good chuckle to be found when I stop by your gallery Anne, whether it's one of your own creations, or one done in your honour! Have a great day - I hope you're right and that your hair truly isn't pink...! So glad to hear you think you have it in you to be understanding and patient!

I would just like to add that no doggies were harmed in the making of this card by my sister. He was returned to the rightful owner after the photo was taken.......that said, on to the card. Yikes! Sis, you'd better run for the hills. Can't believe you actually sent this to our FRIEND!!!!! Oh Anne, I feel your pain. I must apologize for my sister and all her shenanigans as of late. She knows not what she is doing.... I think her meds are off a tad. LOL No really, all in fun isn't this one cute card? She is on a roll this week that is for sure. So glad you received it, after all we do call it "Happy Mail" now don't we?!? Enjoy my friend. TFS :0)

Anne, I said it before and I'll say it again, that slip showing is NOT SEXY GIRL!!! You need to get your act together. You're even getting too old to be a patient at the BFC. I mean, they figure by this time if you haven't kicked the habit, who cares!!!! Also, that "pink" hair has to go and I'm calling PETA right away about your abusive throat hold on that poor innocent wiener dog. Even weiner dogs have feelings you know. Oh, poor poor Anne, time is not being kind to you my friend, but I love you anyway!!! TFS and great job Sput. Keep 'em coming!!!

ROTFL, I know that your baseball hats turned backwards will go beautifully with the slouch socks and high tops. SO not the picture that I have in my mind of you, lol!!! I'm so happy to hear that you've resolved to be kind to your tormentor, Anne, how could you not be, with a card like this!!!! ENJOY!
