I finally decided that I should try this technique and, I must say, I like how it turned out! You can use a slightly imperfect piece of cardstock for the base because most of it will be covered up anyway!
On one card, I used the nestabilities label 3. On the other, just squares. Kind of plain but a nice result for a first try!

Michelle, both these cards are wonderfully stunning! I love the blues and I love the nestie and I love the square on the other one, too. Especially creative is flipping the scalloped edges upward. I would never have thought of that. Just beautiful cards.

These are so pretty (always was a sucker for pretty blue tones!). I havent done this technique but will have to look it up. Need to get back into my craft, have missed it! hope all is well, I'll have to check out what else you have been creating!
