I made this earlier today for my lovely Auntie Jean.
We are not blood relatives (only by marriage) yet she very sweetly treats my little boy and I as kindly as if we were.
My beautiful Son is partially sighted as well as having severe learning difficulties but in spite of this he is absolutely obsessive about books, often to the exclusion of everything else!
Knowing this, Auntie Jean is always treating Leo to lovely books giving him untold pleasure so I wanted to make something as bright and colourful as the lady herself.
The glittery flower you can see was made by punching several different colours of glitter cardstock with a humble heart punch. Cut the hearts in half and assemble to make flower petals. So much more fun (and loads cheaper!) than buying pre-made embellishments. The best part being the ability to match completely with the card itself
The dp used is from the DCWV "Summer Glitter Stack" which I am particularly loving at the moment. I adore the bright colours and hope you do to!
